Inspired by a friend - my hero
That day I fell to floor with a thud,
My head smashed off the door and was cut,
I couldnt take much more then my eyes shut,
Didn't think I could suvive, but you knew I would,
You told me it was going to be ok,
As you mopped up the blood.
That night I cried until I could no longer cry,
You made it alright and wiped my tears dry,
I wanted so much to die,
Until you inspired me to try.
You said with him I shouldnt stay,
But I was terrified and got beat worse each day,
You let me know I could live a better way,
So inspired, I packed up and moved away.
Without you I wouldnt be here,
You inspired me to follow my dreams,
I felt stronger when you were near,
You gave me courage to escape,
You inspired me to over come my fear,
You are my insperation, my hero without a cape.
