grey and heavy
Rain in the distance
Sun up above
Nobody listens
As the mad woman screams
Her heart is a-breaking
Her mind has gone numb
All giving no taking
The wind howls around her
She pleads to the sky
To end all her suffering
She’s tired of goodbye
The sky doesn’t answer
Just opens its doors
She stands still, soaked through
As the rain pours and pours
The rain drops are falling
Mascara tears flow
In rivers of black
To the ground down below
She screams once again
Desperation sets in
Time to start over
Time to begin
Her life once again
This time alone
No one to love her
And no one to moan
A new start for all
The sun breaks the clouds
She laughs till she cries now
She laughs right out loud
With a spring in her step
And a smile on her face
A new life beginning
New time and new place
