Pete Malicki started writing at the age of eighteen and achieved
early success when he won "Write Now!", an Australia-wide young
playwrights' competition run by Naked Theatre Company. His play
The New Inhabitant was produced for a 22-show season at a Sydney
theatre.
At the age of 26, Pete has completed 5 full length novels, 20 plays
of varying length, and a series of poems, short stories, and
articles. He recently founded his own publishing company in
Australia, Helm Publishing Pty Ltd, and is currently going through
the process of publishing his novel Eyes And Knives. He's in
talks with a couple of other well-known writers (Down Under, at
least) about future publications.
When he's not writing, he's running a natural therapies business,
playing piano, guitar and bass in bands, doing office work, stage
managing at his theatre, playing Wii, and wondering how he fits it
all in.
