About Stella
I have been attempting poetry for round-about
six years, actually since buying my first computer and finding
the aol poetry site!
I write about anything that takes my fancy,
from emotions to real life situations, I find people fascinating
and therefore tend to scribble about us strange ones that
inhabit our planet! I have had some success when I have been
bothered to submit my work, being published in the Poetry
Monthly mag and also the Makata. I am also included in a couple
of anthologies, I keep copies in my treasure chest! (which is
the bottom drawer of the wardrobe)
I work for Social Services being a key-worker
for fifteen guys with learning disabilities, including autism
and downs syndrome. My area is in horticulture which is tiring
but very rewarding too..
I am married and have been for 30 years this
August, oh and I will be 50 this year.
I enjoy most music from Ralph Vaughn Williams
to Nine Inch Nails and I read a varied selection of books when I
have the time! I read some poetry but should read more
