I am Stephen John Messham, I am 21 years old, studying Pharmacy in the University of Hertfordshire. I have been interested in books for as long as I can remember, but due to studying pharmacy as my ambition is to become a doctor, I had to drop English from GCSE Level. I was born and bred in Kirkby, Liverpool.
When I write, I tend to write about what I am feeling at the moment, so I won't stick to a particular genre.
Favourites
The best book I have ever read is Captain Corelli's Mandolin, because it encompasses all genre's into a book that reads like a poem.
My favourite poem is one called The Justice Bell by a writer who
writes about Liverpool Football Club. The reason I like it is
because it is so hard hitting about a point I am passionate about,
the Hillsborough Disaster, which I noticed another of the writers on
this page has written work about.
My favourite play is split between Blood Brothers (sorry, another
local writer!), and Miss Saigon.
